About the job
At Global Drain Technologies, we take pride in manufacturing the highest quality stainless steel drainage products in the industry. We are looking for an experienced TIG welder. The TIG Welder will report to the Welding Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure health and safety is a priority by following company policies, safety precautions and procedures;
- Accurately read and understand welding blueprints, shop drawings, manuals and procedures;
- Accurately measure, assemble and perform TIG welding on clean stainless steel parts;
- Operate hand tools, grinders and torches safely and efficiently;
- Process production orders within our ERP system;
- Maintain a clean work area;
- Other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
What you bring
- Grade 12 Diploma or a combination of education and experience will be considered;
- One - Two (1-2) years TIG welding experience;
- Customer Service focused with a positive work attitude;
- Ability to be a team player;
- Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail;
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs;
- Experience operating a forklift is an asset;
- Experience with metal fabrication is an asset.
