Global Drain Technologies is a leading manufacturer of engineered drainage systems for the food and beverage industry, commercial & industrial facilities, and urban landscape projects.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively promote our products to target audiences. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B marketing, and a proven track record of driving product success through marketing initiatives. Additionally, this role supports the marketing team through content creation including scripts, videos, white papers, website copy, emails and sequences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research & Analysis
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze product performance and market data using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or HubSpot to inform marketing strategies.
Product Positioning & Messaging
  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment of product features with market needs.
Content Creation
  • Assist with the development of comprehensive content including scripts, videos, white papers, website copy, emails and sequences;
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content and industry insights;
  • Use WordPress and marketing automation tools (Hubspot) to manage and distribute content. 
  • Create, develop, maintain and communicate lead actual to forecast reports to the manager.
  • In collaboration with the sales team create innovative, relevant content to attract new customers through strong marketing initiatives, campaigns, events and presentation decks.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Four (4) years directly related experience in Marketing and Customer Service.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing technologies, including Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot), marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), and social media advertising platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads), Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and advanced technical skills.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals, groups and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think strategically.
  • Results oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Hours of Work:  Full Time, Monday to Friday.

Annual Salary: Depending on qualifications and experience.
